Enhanced family building benefits and support
When enrolled in a T-Mobile medical plan you’ll have access to fertility benefit coverage, including comprehensive treatment leveraging the latest technologies, access to high-quality care through a premier network of fertility specialists, and personalized emotional support and guidance from a dedicated Patient Care Advocate (PCA) through Progyny. Beginning in 2025, the medical plans will add coverage for tubal ligation reversals and vasectomy reversals.
Pregnancy and Postpartum support
At T-Mobile we average 4-5 new babies being born every day, so we understand the importance of ensuring that our families feel well supported during and after pregnancy to help manage any worries or concerns that may come up. That's why we’re rolling out a new Pregnancy and Postpartum support program for employees and their eligible spouse/partner enrolled in a T-Mobile medical plan, beginning in 2025. This program provides expert guidance for every stage of pregnancy, including:
- Prenatal nutrition and lifestyle behaviors
- Personal health risks across common chronic conditions
- Navigating complications such as miscarriage, pre-term birth, and NICU stays
- Emotional and mental health needs
- Preparing for provider visits
- Self-care and return-to-work support
Doula benefit
We’re also introducing a new reimbursement benefit of up to $2,000 per birth for doula support through Progyny in 2025. A doula is a professional who is specifically trained in labor and childbirth support. Your doula is there alongside your doctor and nurses to help ensure your emotional and physical needs are being met and to help advocate for you. This benefit includes coverage for both Birthing Doulas and Postpartum Doulas.
Birthing Doula: Supports individuals giving birth and their loved ones by offering emotional, physical, and educational aid throughout the entire birthing process and immediately following childbirth.
The benefit of a doula includes:
- Helping you with methods of coping (ways to ease stress and pain)
- Fewer interventions (lower the likelihood of assisted vaginal delivery and lower cesarean births)
- An unbiased resource (asking the right questions)
- Advocacy (being the voice for your birth plan)
- Better communication and extra attention (understanding and educating you on medical terms and being with you at all times to help you feel relaxed and comfortable)
- And much more!
Postpartum Doula: Provides practical help with care, feeding, and bonding, as well as emotional support, and managing sleep schedules for new parents upon the arrival of their newborn.
Adoption & Surrogacy reimbursement increase
To help further reduce the burden of adoption and surrogacy expenses, T-Mobile is expanding adoption and surrogacy financial assistance up to $30,000 per child for eligible employees:
- T-Mobile regular full- and part-time employees are eligible for Adoption and/or Surrogacy reimbursement
- Employees become eligible to participate on the first of the month following 30 days of employment
- Adoption & Surrogacy benefits up to $30,000 per child/surrogacy
- Expenses can be reimbursed as the expense is incurred after reaching eligibility and submitted for reimbursement within 12 months of the date incurred.
In addition to medical coverage, benefits enrollment is your opportunity to choose from many other benefits available, such as:
Life Insurance and Long Term Disability
T-Mobile provides you with Life Insurance and AD&D valued at 1.5x your annual base pay and Long Term Disability insurance. You can choose to purchase additional coverage, including dependent life insurance, during the benefits enrollment period.
